My client in central Manchester are looking for x 2 Panel Wirers.

Key tasks:
Mechanically assemble boards, panels and cubicles in preparation for wiring activities.
Prepare, crimp, terminate and loom wires and cables in accordance with schematic drawings and wiring schedules.

Accurately record time bookings per task on the company recording system.
Operate in a manner that ensures the health and safety of both themselves and their colleagues.
Immediately advise supervision of any problems/issues that prevent them from fulfilling their role.

Key Results/Objectives:
Complete the mechanical fit-out and wiring tasks allocated within the budgeted times allotted.
Complete the mechanical fit-out and wiring tasks to the quality standard required.
Complete their duties in a manner that ensures the health and safety of both themselves and their colleagues.

Maintain individual electronic timesheet through company data collection software.

Qualifications:
•ONC/BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or City & Guilds 8030, City & Guilds 2365.

Skills/ competencies:
•Ability to read, understand and interpret electrical engineering drawings
•Ability to prepare, crimp, terminate and loom complex wiring assemblies.
•Ability to identify and communicate drawing discrepancies to supervision.
•Ability to recognise bad practice and communicate this to supervision.
•Demonstrable ability to meet demanding deadlines

Working Days (7am – 15.30pm) Monday to Thursday and (7am – 11.30am) on Friday.
