The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

My client in the Skipton area require x 2 experienced Fabricators. You will be required to be an experienced sheet metal worker, welder/fabricator who has the necessary skills to work with a full range of metals both in our workshop or out on-site. To be able to work with limited supervision and be part of a small team. At times, this role is customer facing and you should therefore have good communication skills. You should be able to work with a variety of machine tools including welding, bending and cutting equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manufacturing of components to engineering drawings or verbal instruction
  • Fabrication and welding of specialist and bespoke items
  • Use of a full range of workshop equipment to assist with the above
  • MIG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel to a good standard
  • Installation of completed items on customer premises

Essential skills required:

  • Welding experience (MIG & TIG)
  • Fully competent sheet metal worker
  • Competent fabricator
