My client in the Bolsover area of Chesterfield are looking for an experienced Laser Operative. In this role you will be working in a steel fabricating environment, operating a laser cutting machine.
The role will include:
- Setup and perform all laser operations.
- Produce laser-cut components using a pre-nested file, ensuring that material use is maximised, to the correct quality and quantity.
- Ensure your working section is organised and tidy.
- Complete periodic cleaning of machines as per maintenance schedule.
- Strictly adhere to our clients working procedures maintaining a tidy and professional appearance and making full use of the PPE provided.
The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience:
- Laser Operator experience and be confident in running and setting the machine.
- Experience in the steel industry.
- The ability to work both as part of a small friendly team or work on own initiative.
Hours of Work: Days - Overtime available.
