Jark Stevenage are urgently recruiting for an EXPERIENCED PRESS BREAK OPERATOR for a Stevenage company. This position requires knowledge of the press break and will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the machine.
- Set up and operate press break machine in accordance with production drawings.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
- Set priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
- Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to quality standards.
Experience in the sheet metal industry is required. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8AM-4.30PM, with overtime available. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right people. The company provides comprehensive fabrication services, typically including cutting, bending, welding and finishing to transform metal sheets (steel, aluminum, stainless steel). They handle anything from custom prototypes to high volume production.
