We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bench Joiner to join our busy packaging client based in Letchworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling wooden packaging products including crates, pallets, and bespoke timber packaging solutions. This role is a temporary to permanent position with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber products
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Reading and working from technical drawings/specifications
- Building custom wooden crates, pallets, and packaging units
- Maintaining quality standards and meeting production targets
- Keeping the work area clean and following health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous bench joinery or woodworking experience preferred
- Ability to use woodworking machinery and tools
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
