I am recruiting for an Assembly Technician for my client in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. This role is a temporary ongoing position and may lead to a permanent position for the right person. This role is an immediate start.
To manufacture component parts and assembly, hand tools, gauges and measuring equipment is used daily. To work to the specified quality and time standard. To perform quality assurance and product testing as directed by Company procedures. To perform other duties as directed which are compatible with the skills, knowledge and experience stated for this job, or for which training has been provided.
Working Conditions: General factory environment. Some manual handling and lifting of materials is required.
Knowledge and qualifications: Good spoken and written English and number literate. No formal qualifications are required.
Experience, Attitudes and behaviours: Familiar with general factory work, or assembly of small components, and able to follow written or verbal instructions. Possessing manual dexterity and able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
This role is working Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00. Ideally you will have your own transport or live locally but you can access this factory from all local train and bus stations and is approx a 15 min walk.
