Welder/Fabricator in Worcester

My client, an engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Fabricator/Welder on an ongoing temp basis

The main responsibilities of the role include

– Work from technical drawings.
– Working with both Mild steel & Stainless steel
– Fabricate materials ranging from 2mm sheet metal up to 30mm
– Set up and operate Press brakes, drills, saws, and various pneumatic and hand tools
– Ensure all welds and fabrications meet tight tolerances and project specifications

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

– previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator, predominately as a MIG Welder
– Working knowledge of different types of steel to avoid cross contamination
– Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
– The ability to work on your own initiative xiskglj and problem solve
– Adhere to PPE standards at all times
– Maintain a safe working environment, always keeping areas clear of debris and hazards

The pay-rate on offer is up to £16 an hour with overtime available
