My client in Leeds area require x 5 experienced Welder Fabricators (Nights).

Duties of the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to fabricate components with precision. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through expert welding practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on various materials, primarily sheet metal, ensuring high-quality welds.
  • Assemble and fabricate components according to engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
  • Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds certifications.

  • Pipe welding experience (advantageous).
  • A flexible approach to work and willingness to work overtime when needed.
