My client in the Manvers area of Barnsley requires 4 Welder / Fabricators. Candidates will be working for an established structural steel company.

Duties of the Role:

  • Fabricate structural steel of varying grades and thickness
  • Carry out MIG / MAG and Flux Core welding, predominantly downhand
  • Complete multi-run fillet and butt welds
  • Weld to structural coded standards
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings

Experienced Required:

  • Time served or apprentice trained
  • Shop floor trained with strong fabrication experience
  • Experienced within heavy or structural steel
  • Previously welded to coded standards
  • Confident working from drawings
