Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including sheet metal and fabricated components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete fabrication tasks accurately
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise assembly
- Assist in the fabrication of metal structures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality requirements
- Conduct inspections of welds for consistency, strength, and quality
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
Requirements
