My client in the Ossett area require an experienced Ecommerce Specialist.

Due to our continued growth, we are now seeking an E-Commerce Specialist to join our amazing team. If you are passionate about e-commerce, digital marketing and driving business growth, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real impact.

As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will manage and enhance our presence across multiple online marketplaces. Your goal will be to increase sales, boost brand visibility, and deliver a seamless customer experience. A strong understanding of the flat-pack furniture industry, our competitors, and our customers\’ needs is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• 37.5 hours per week, flexible working hours can be agreed, with a 4-day week option available.
• This is a fully office-based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketplace Management: Oversee and manage the company\’s presence on various e-commerce platforms.
• Product Listing & Optimisation: Create and improve product listings to drive visibility and sales.
• Pricing & Promotion: Monitor competitor pricing, propose competitive pricing strategies, and run promotional campaigns to boost sales and conversions.
• Marketing Initiatives: Work closely with the team to plan and execute marketplace-specific campaigns, including sponsored ads and promotions.
• Brand Monitoring & Compliance: Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, monitor for unauthorised sellers and counterfeit products, and take necessary action to protect the brand.
• Market Insight: Maintain awareness of trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
• Business growth: Utilise data driven insights to evaluate and implement strategies for growth.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years\’ proven experience managing e-commerce marketplaces.
• Strong Microsoft office skills.
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with marketplace guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
• Team player with the ability to work with other departments.
