Visual NDT Technician

My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Visual NDT Technicians on a permanent basisThere are 2 positons, one day-shift and one PM shiftThe day shift is Mon-Fri 0700-1500 with a salary up to £35,000The PM shift is Mon-Thurs 1430-2330 and Friday 1430-1800 with 20% shift allowance on top of the basic salaryThe main responsibilities associated with the role include – Carry out visual NDT inspections in line with customer requirements- Generate reports on inspection findings- Identify non-conforming parts- report quality issues- Conduct 5s and TPM activities- support with final release inspection- support QMS developmentAs a suitable candidates you will offer the following- previous experience as an NDT technician or inspector- experience of setting up and standardizing equipment- experience of conducting system performance check-ins- Knowledge of video/borescopes for internal inspection- an ability to offer support and guidance to trainees- Level 2 or above certification in ISO9712 or EN4179 visual testing – an ability to read engineering drawings- experience creating visual inspection data-cardsThe salary on offer is up to £35,000 and the role is Monday-FridayKeywords:VISUAL NDT, ISO9712, EN4179, BORESCOPES, MACHINED PARTS, 5S, TPM, QMS, INSPECTION METHOLDOLOGY,
