Sewing Machinist

My client in the Wath area require x 2 experienced Sewing Machinists. Duties: Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric and upholstery materials for office furniture. Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate stitching and assembly of furniture components. Cut, measure, and trim materials to size as required. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet the company’s high standards. Maintain sewing machines and equipment, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring optimal performance. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of furniture components. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety guidelines. Adhere to company policies and quality control procedures. Skills: Experience with industrial sewing machines, including overlock and flatbed machines. Strong understanding of different upholstery materials, including fabric, leather, and vinyl. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Shift Pattern – Monday – Friday – 7am – 4pm IND123
