Jark Cambridge are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a compliance engineer with a Plumbing bias to be based on a static site in Cambridge.
The role will involve scheduled testing, monitoring and preventative maintenance works to ensure building water systems meet legal standards. Ideally you will have a solid understanding of plumbing systems and previous experience delivering compliance tasks such as tap temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and showerhead descaling.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out water temperature monitoring
- Performing descaling and disinfection of taps and showerheads
- Servicing thermostatic valves
- Assist with minor plumbing repairs
Skills Required
- A strong background in Plumbing with an NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience delivering compliance maintenance in public buildings.
- An understanding of legionella control requirements.
- Ability to complete clear, accurate documentation for compliance records.
- Be comfortable using handheld devices such as an iPad.
Qualifications Required
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- Full UK Driving license
- Desirable but not essential - WRAS Approved, CSCS card
