My client in the Skipsea area of Hull are looking for time served Plater / Fabricators. Candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the capability to assemble components using both hand and power tools. Duties of the role Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Perform welding tasks using welding techniques and other methods as required. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards. Duties of the Role Proficient in welding techniques, particularly TIG welding. Strong mechanical knowledge Experience working with sheet metal and other fabrication materials. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the fabrication process. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
