We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to work on a commercial MEP new build project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable M&E contractor on a fast-paced, technically challenging development.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the on-site delivery of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, public health) in line with the construction programme.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and direct labour.
- Ensure all mechanical works are installed to spec, on time, and in accordance with health & safety standards.
- Work closely with the project manager and other discipline leads to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend site meetings and report progress, issues, and coordination requirements.
- Oversee quality control, snagging, and commissioning support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems and installation methods.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3+ or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- First Aid at Work.
