My client in the Trafford Park area require Vehicle Builders. Are you hands-on, practical and motivated by building high quality from the ground up to see your work come to life? If so, we want to hear from you!

Your Role

We are looking for someone to be at the heart of our manufacturing process, involved in building, installing and finishing high quality vehicle bodies. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and complete tasks to a high standard, a positive and proactive attitude towards work and the ability to work safely and professionally.

Day to day you will be:

  • Working independently and on own initiative to achieve timelines and standards.
  • Reading engineering drawings provided and working from works orders.
  • Experience in using hand tools, bench saws and measurement equipment whilst using them all safely.
  • Installing insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies.
  • Electrically terminating lighting, switches and tail lifts.
  • Sealing joints, floors and roofs with silicone and gel coatings.
  • Cutting of metals, woods and plastics using hand tools and bench equipment.
  • Ensuring standards of good housekeeping are achieved in all work areas, including workshops, vehicles and at onsite locations.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable projects, tasks, or duties to support the business as directed by management.
