My client, a manufacturing company based in the Malvern Area is looking to recruit a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor on a Temp to Perm basis.

The main functions of the role include:

  • Mechanical and electrical assembly according to build books, technical drawings and as per any other management instructions, including working within timeframes and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Pressure and leak testing.
  • End of line function testing of finished appliances, including fault analysis and rectification.
  • To be responsible for the effective organisation of labour and materials.
  • Ensure the workplace under your responsibility runs as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Required Experience / Skills:

  • This role is physically demanding and can involve lifting and positioning relatively heavy components during the assembly process. Therefore, a good level of physical strength and fitness is necessary.
  • The role requires attention to detail, methodical processes and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • As part of a small team, reliability and trustworthiness is essential.
  • To be dynamic and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

This role is Mon-Fri, 39 hours per week and the pay rate on offer is £13.360 to start with increases up to £14.60 after agreed targets are met.
