My client based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Grit/Shot Blaster on an ongoing temp basis, which may lead to a permanent opportunity as the business continues to grow.

There are 2 positions available, one day shift and one PM shift:

  • The day shift hours are Mon-Fri 0700-1500, pay-rate is £13 an hour.
  • The PM shift is Mon-Thurs 1430-2330 and Friday from 1430-1800, pay-rate is £13 plus 20% shift allowance.

The main purpose of the role includes:

  • Operating Grit/Shot blasting equipment.
  • Providing production support to colleagues and maintaining production quality.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Documenting and reporting any issues.

As a suitable candidate, you will offer the following:

  • Ideally have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • An ability to record data in an accurate manner with strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Ideally have an understanding of powder metallurgy.
  • Good communication skills.
