We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading Mechanical Contractor on a permanent basis. The role is predominantly site-based with minimal travel required. The engineer will be based at a large commercial facility, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas systems and associated plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems.
  • Diagnose faults and complete necessary remedial work.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current gas safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
  • Liaise with site teams and management to ensure smooth operation of services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g., ACS Commercial Gas certifications).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
