We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading Mechanical Contractor on a permanent basis. The role is predominantly site-based with minimal travel required. The engineer will be based at a large commercial facility, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas systems and associated plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete necessary remedial work.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current gas safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
- Liaise with site teams and management to ensure smooth operation of services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
- Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g., ACS Commercial Gas certifications).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
