Edge Bander Machinist

My client in the HD2 area of Huddersfield (Leeds Rd) require an experience Wood Machinist.

Candiadtes will be operating Wood Machines such as; edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and routers. Previous experience from wood industry is preferred.

Previous experience required:
Working within a production environment
Machine Operating experience required
Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
Quality checking outgoing stock
Wood machinist/manufacturing background

Duties of the Role:
Manufacturing background and understanding of manufacturing process
Experience of operating wood machinery
Good timekeeping and attendance record
Operating Edge banding machines
Operating Crosscut saw machines
Operating Drill machines
Operating CNC machines
Operating Beam Saw machines
