We are looking for an experienced and proactive Construction Supervisor / Foreman to oversee the successful delivery of a 1 million Royal Mail depot refurbishment in Northampton. This is a hands-on site management role requiring strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades to deliver the project safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision and management of all site activities.
- Coordinate and manage all subcontractors, including: Mechanical (HVAC and plumbing), Electrical, General building trades.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with the programme and project specifications.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping on site.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and subcontractors.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
- Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS are adhered to.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, and material coordination.
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting.
