My client, an engineering company based in Worcester (WR4), is looking to recruit a CNC Lathe operator on a long-term temp contract to cover maternity leave, between 9 and 12 months. There is a good chance this position could become permanent as the business continues to grow.
This is a PM shift with a pay-rate of £15.30 per hour with a 20% shift allowance to be added. The hours required are Mon-Thu 14:30-23:30 and Friday 14:30-18:00.
The main requirements for the role include:
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator
- Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
- Proactive nature and keen to work within a small business and take responsibility for the role
- Experience with 3 AXIS CNC Lathe ideally
- Experience of using Siemens 840D Controllers or similar would be preferred
- Experience of precision components is highly desirable
