We're looking for an experienced Senior Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault-find and carry out small works on fire alarm systems across London and the surrounding areas. Our client pride themselves on quality, integrity, safety and delivering an excellent customer experience. We're looking for someone who shares these values and can work independently while supporting the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault-find on a wide range of fire alarm systems.
- Carry out system takeovers, commissioning support and customer training.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately using company systems.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Recommend system improvements and identify quotation opportunities.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicle to a high standard.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures.
Senior Engineer Duties
- Provide technical support and mentoring to engineers.
- Assist with fault finding and engineer training.
- Support engineer and subcontractor audits.
- Work on complex Cause & Effect programming and Gent addressable systems.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience working on fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of current fire regulations.
- Experience with Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, SMS and similar systems.
- Ability to work on complex Cause & Effect and Gent addressable systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Desirable: CSCS/ECS, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness and First Aid.
Package
- Competitive salary (DOE).
