My client in the Manvers area of Barnsley requires 4 Welder / Fabricators. Candidates will be working for an established structural steel company.
Duties of the Role:
- Fabricate structural steel of varying grades and thickness
- Carry out MIG / MAG and Flux Core welding, predominantly downhand
- Complete multi-run fillet and butt welds
- Weld to structural coded standards
- Work from detailed engineering drawings
Experienced Required:
- Time served or apprentice trained
- Shop floor trained with strong fabrication experience
- Experienced within heavy or structural steel
- Previously welded to coded standards
- Confident working from drawings
