Pay: 12.75 per hour PAYE or 14.29 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay) Banksman Immediate Start We are currently recruiting for a Banksman to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation based in Widnes, Cheshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with regular daytime hours.
Key
Responsibilities: Safely guiding HGVs and other vehicles around the site.
Directing reversing vehicles using the correct hand signals.
Ensuring pedestrian and vehicle movements are carried out safely.
Assisting with traffic management within the yard.
Communicating clearly with drivers and warehouse staff.
Carrying out regular yard safety checks.
Keeping the yard clean, tidy and free from hazards.
Following all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements: Previous experience working as a Banksman, Yard Marshal or Traffic Marshal is preferred.
A Banksman/Vehicle Marshal qualification is advantageous but not essential as experience will be considered.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
