Jark Construction are proud to be representing one of London's most decorated and established M&E firms. Due to an increase of workload, we are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis. This contract is ongoing and you will be required to manage large Commercial refurbishment in Harrow.

As the Mechanical Supervisor you will be working alongside M&E Project Managers running teams of up to 10 Plumbers on a large Commercial project. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives working on prestigious projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the mechanical installation work on site.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standard.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that the mechanical works are integrated with other trades on site.
  • Monitor and review the performance of the mechanical installation team and provide feedback and coaching where necessary.
  • Ensure that all equipment and materials are ordered and delivered to site on time and in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Carry out all works in compliance with statutory regulations, current industry standards, company quality and health and safety assurance procedures, including ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Quality, Environmental and OH&S procedures.
  • Directly manage the externally contracted and directly employed resources.
  • Drive the labour workforce on site to achieve the programme.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are observed throughout.
Key Skills & Knowledge
  • Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the building services industry.
  • Health & Safety Qualification - SSSTS OR SMSTS.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

In return our client are offering: £280.00 per day. Guaranteed work until back end of 2025. Continued project support by the on-site M&E project managers.
