Buying & Product Management
- Support the selection and range-planning process, using sales data and trend insight
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including quality control
- Decide buying quantities to optimise container shipments and delivery schedules
- Set up new products across systems, including retail and wholesale pricing
- Manage buying plans per supplier and raise purchase orders
- Receive and check all glassware and lampshade deliveries, ensuring systems are accurate and synced
- Order samples for the buying process and showroom display
Planning & Operations
- Assist with trade show planning, including passes, stand layout and display
- Support stocktakes, generate forms and make system corrections
- Manage annual price updates across inventory, Shopify and trade platforms
- Help plan and deliver a monthly marketing schedule (trade emails, show offers, website updates)
- Support and maintain key corporate and trade accounts, including well-known homeware and lifestyle brands
- Set up and maintain the trade catalogue using Catalogue apps
- Attend trade shows, including stand set‑up and breakdown
About You
- Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with inventory systems and accounting software (such as QuickBooks) is an advantage
- Comfortable working with websites and e‑commerce platforms (Shopify experience helpful)
- A strong eye for design, interiors and product presentation
- Highly self‑motivated, able to work independently and take initiative
- A natural problem‑solver who stays calm under pressure
- Methodical, organised and accurate, with excellent attention to detail
