Buying & Product Management

  • Support the selection and range-planning process, using sales data and trend insight
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including quality control
  • Decide buying quantities to optimise container shipments and delivery schedules
  • Set up new products across systems, including retail and wholesale pricing
  • Manage buying plans per supplier and raise purchase orders
  • Receive and check all glassware and lampshade deliveries, ensuring systems are accurate and synced
  • Order samples for the buying process and showroom display

Planning & Operations

  • Assist with trade show planning, including passes, stand layout and display
  • Support stocktakes, generate forms and make system corrections
  • Manage annual price updates across inventory, Shopify and trade platforms
  • Help plan and deliver a monthly marketing schedule (trade emails, show offers, website updates)
  • Support and maintain key corporate and trade accounts, including well-known homeware and lifestyle brands
  • Set up and maintain the trade catalogue using Catalogue apps
  • Attend trade shows, including stand set‑up and breakdown

About You

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with inventory systems and accounting software (such as QuickBooks) is an advantage
  • Comfortable working with websites and e‑commerce platforms (Shopify experience helpful)
  • A strong eye for design, interiors and product presentation
  • Highly self‑motivated, able to work independently and take initiative
  • A natural problem‑solver who stays calm under pressure
  • Methodical, organised and accurate, with excellent attention to detail
