GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Water Testing Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

As the Water Testing Engineer your key responsibilities are:

  • Test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure as instructed working to Water Codes of Practice, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
  • Have a full and comprehensive understanding of all incumbent and IWNL Testing, chlorinating and Sampling procedures.
  • Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager.
  • Complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Record accurately details of work undertaken.
  • Submit relevant work details for recording and invoicing in the required timescale.

About you:

  • Have a Water Safety Passport.
  • Have a Water Hygiene ticket.
  • Have a Street works card.
  • Experience of Water Mains, Testing, Chlorination and Sampling.
  • NCO1 Main Laying / Service Laying or Equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license.
