Your opportunity

  • Work closely with the relevant third party providers ensuring that the levels of oversight and monitoring of controls and processes are set and performed rigorously, to the required levels.
  • Establish and maintain a close and effective working relationship with our third party providers.
  • Carry out the daily checklist tasks to the required level to include - Supporting oversight control functions within Client Operations – i.e. monitoring debtors and creditors positions, onsite monitoring of core functions such as investor dealing and settlement, income payments, bank account reconciliations, account maintenance, etc.
  • Support the monitoring programme by reviewing completed work of SS&C / IFDS and ensuring work completed to required standards and within required timescales.
  • Work with our partners in Distribution and Product consistently, reacting to and understanding new or changing business needs. You will actively help to deliver change and provide/adapt operational support/models, within regulatory guidelines. that will help grow AUM & revenue.
  • You will review and analyse MI in order to identify service issues as early as possible and design/ deliver on continuous improvements to Client Experience
  • Manage and resolve any queries from internal and external parties utilising the team resources.
  • Champion new ideas to raise processes to ‘Best Practice’ and align them across jurisdictions.
  • Provide back-up and support to the Senior Client Operations Manager as appropriate.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

  • Degree level education or meaningful professional qualifications or some industry experience.
  • Experience of supporting direct clients, institutional clients and platforms
  • Product knowledge of UK / Luxembourg and Irish pooled vehicles
  • Makes quick, clear decisions which may include tough choices or considered risks; applies sound judgement by comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions
  • Speaks fluently; express opinions, information and key points of an argument clearly; create presentations and / or undertakes public speaking with skill and confidence; responds quickly to the needs of the audience and to their reactions and feedback; projects credibility.
  • Easily establishes good relationships with ‘customers’ and staff; build wide and effective networks of contacts.

  • Experience of managing an outsourced relationship
  • Experience / background in UK CASS regulations (and their application to UK funds).
