Overview
In this global technology leadership role, you report to the Chief Technology Officer and guide two key domains: shared technology services and AI/data-enabled platforms. You’ll drive reliability of infrastructure, cloud platforms, and end-user tech while modernizing the platform to empower self-service, scalable AI and data foundations. You’ll grow the Budapest hub as a center of excellence and foster a product-minded, customer-centric platform that accelerates internal builders. Your leadership will shape strategy, governance, and cost-rational, secure operations across a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee shared technology services powering the business and build AI/data platforms
- Own reliability, performance, and operational services for infrastructure and cloud
- Modernize infrastructure into self-service platforms to accelerate tool creation
- Operate the AI & data platform stack (Medallion architecture with Snowflake, Azure, DBT) at scale
- Set product-minded platform roadmaps, adoption, and developer experience
- Ensure availability, resilience, incident response, security, and service quality
- Lead Heads of Unified Communications, Client Technology, Production Support, Service Management, Core Services, and Strategy/Architecture
- Grow the Budapest hub as an insourced center of excellence with clear career paths
- Manage cost, budget, vendor relationships, and security posture of platform and run
- Mentor and develop senior leaders across a globally distributed organization
Key requirements
- Senior leadership experience building or operating enterprise-scale cloud, data, or AI platforms and mission-critical infrastructure
- Track record turning infrastructure, cloud, data or AI capabilities into reusable self-service platforms
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, modern data platforms, DevOps, automation, infrastructure as code, and AI-assisted operations
- Experience owning enterprise network, telephony, end-user computing, production support, IT service management and core services
- Accountability for availability, resilience, major incident response, service quality and cost at scale
- Proven ability to partner with a CISO and understand core cybersecurity concepts and tools
- Experience leading and developing senior leaders in a large, globally distributed tech org
- Proven capability to build or scale an insourced delivery hub, develop local leadership and retain specialist talent
- Ability to translate strategy into roadmaps, operating measures, and sustained internal adoption
- Experience owning a substantial budget and vendor portfolio with good judgment on cost, risk, and innovation
