We are seeking a qualified accountant to support financial reporting and audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical accounting expertise under IFRS and US GAAP, supporting accounting matters and financial reporting judgments.
- Assess the financial reporting and accounting implications of recent take‑private transactions, including identifying and implementing accounting, reporting, and process changes.
- Contribute to the delivery of the external audit process, preparing supporting analysis.
- Support the Financial Reporting team through a period of change, contributing to monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reporting deliverables.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

- Required Qualifications
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience in financial reporting and financial control.
- Significant practical experience applying IFRS, including robust technical accounting analysis and sound financial reporting judgment.
- Experience managing financial reporting and audit processes.
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work accurately and independently with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and take time to understand the area and its requirements.
- Results‑driven approach, including making enhancements and improvements to processes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others at Janus Henderson.

- Good working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency with SAP (S/4, ERP, BPC, GR and BAO).
