Your opportunity

As part of this rewarding role, you will report directly to the Head of UK Corporate Secretariat and will be part of a high-performing and well-regarded team comprising of one Company Secretary and one Assistant Company Secretary.

You will work with other members of the team to provide corporate secretarial and governance support to UK regulated entity boards and other subsidiaries in the Group.

Duties include

  • Providing corporate secretarial support services, including in relation to UK regulated entity boards and other subsidiaries in the Group, as needed.
  • Assisting with the preparation of agendas for board meetings, reviewing papers, attending meetings, preparing minutes, managing minute reviews and following up action items.
  • Owning and maintaining the team Governance tracker.
  • Managing certain governance processes for the team, including quarterly reviews of authorised signatory lists.
  • Supporting with legal entity changes, including filings with Companies House and other overseas registries for subsidiaries and branches in the Group
  • Managing the annual accounts process for subsidiaries in Group
  • Managing and responding to KYC and other information requests.
  • Assisting with the identification and implementation of process improvements for the team.
  • Using AI technology to improve efficiency and support high-quality delivery.
  • Carrying out other duties as assigned.

  • Minute taking experience.
  • Knowledge of board processes and procedures
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Relevant Company Secretarial qualifications or studying towards Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant company law and company secretarial requirements (English law requirements)
  • Background and experience within asset management and/or financial services
  • Understanding and/ or prior use of AI technology.

Annual Bonus Opportunity

Position may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.

The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.
