Compliance Manager (Markets Advisory) - 12 mths FTC

Responsibilities
- 12 Month Maternity Leave Cover Opportunity
- Lead the Janus Henderson Control Room for EMEA acting as the initial receiver of market sounding opportunities
- Responsible for ensuring receipt of inside information is handled in line with regulatory expectation
- Liaise with Portfolio Managers on wall crossing opportunities
- Undertake Market Abuse advisory activities such as reviewing regulatory updates and considering the impact on Janus Henderson
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Required Skills
- A detailed understanding of market abuse regulations and market sounding regulatory guidance
- An ability to assess Inside Information and make risk-based decisions
- Experience in a control room setting or trade surveillance team at an investment firm
- An ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholders such as Portfolio Managers
Nice to have skills
- Previous experience with My Compliance Office
- Previous experience with Charles River as an order management system
