As a corporate Credit Analyst with Global Credit Research, you will work alongside sector lead analysts and portfolio managers in researching issuers, sectors and security‑specific opportunities across corporate credit markets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fundamental and valuation analysis to identify risk‑adjusted return securities.
  • Cover cyclical industries with a focus on European Investment Grade, High Yield and Leveraged Loan issuers in EUR, GBP and USD markets.
  • Conduct bottom‑up fundamental analysis considering operating and financial performance, competitive positioning, regulatory landscape, quality of company reporting and management.
  • Undertake research visits and meetings with company management, competitors, customers, suppliers and other relevant constituents.
  • Integrate ESG factors into analysis and engage directly with issuers to identify leaders and laggards.
  • Determine critical business drivers and risk factors, building and maintaining financial models that support recommendations, emphasizing free‑cash‑flow forecasting and capital structure.
  • Produce concise, actionable notes on investment themes, earnings and breaking news events.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a corporate credit analyst in Investment Grade and High‑Yield credit markets.
  • Degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
  • Understanding of global credit markets.
  • Ability to work efficiently and make independent decisions.
  • Strong multi‑tasking, organization and assimilation of large amounts of information.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain detailed financial models.
  • Corporate finance and accounting knowledge.
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel, Bloomberg skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory obligations and ability to comply with firm policies.

Nice to Have

  • CFA, accountancy or other postgraduate/professional qualification.
  • Power BI, Tableau skills and experience using AI or LLM tools in research.
