Your opportunity
This is a 18-month Level 3 Risk Officer Apprenticeship programme which is a work based qualification focusing on gaining first hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking.
You will be a member of the Financial Risk team helping to identify, assess, monitor, and escalate market, liquidity and counterparty risks. You will support the Financial Risk team to deliver their objectives, working on business-as-usual tasks as well as projects.
You will:
- Support the Financial Risk team in delivering efficient processes in responding to client’s information requests
- Support the Financial Risk team in writing up the minutes of the committee or working group meetings
- Support the Financial Risk team in delivering effective processes in daily monitoring of market, liquidity and counterparty risks
- Produce regular and ad hoc reporting to support the Financial Risk governance committees
- Produce regular reporting to fund boards on behalf of Financial Risk
- Present risk analysis at Financial Risk team meetings and to other key stakeholders
- Partner with stakeholders to support, maintain the risk management tools used by the Financial Risk team
- Partner with IT to maintain the tools for assessment, monitoring, and reporting of liquidity risk, and investment risk
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Organized and efficient, with strong attention to details
- Good report writing skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and proactive approach
Nice to have skills
- Knowledge of financial market products, asset management products, and asset management industry
- High degree of numeracy and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work with large data sets, producing metrics and other analytics for reporting and analysis
