Role Description

This is a full-time Part 2/3 Architect or qualified Architectural Technologist position at Janus Architecture. This is a hybrid role with our main office based in Bradford, with an option for part time working-from-home.

The role involves working on the design, development, and management of a wide array of architectural projects, preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and consultants to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.

Qualifications

• We operate ArchiCAD, but would accept applicants with proficiency in other design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of architectural standards, construction methods, and building regulations
• Excellent design and creative problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, collaboration, and team-working skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict project deadlines
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture and completion of RIBA Part 2 qualification minimum or fully qualified architectural technologist – with minimum 2 years practice experience at Part 2 level or equivalent.
• Experience in sustainability-focused architectural practices is a plus
• Professional experience working on commercial projects is preferred.
