Role Description
The Project Supervisor is a full-time hybrid role based in Lincoln, with some work from home possible. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of equipment installation and upgrade projects across poultry sites, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to agreed quality standards. Day-to-day activities include supervising site teams and subcontractors, monitoring project progress, managing materials and equipment logistics, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders. The Project Supervisor prepares project documentation and reports, supports risk assessments and compliance with health and safety policies, and works closely with the engineering and warehousing teams to resolve issues promptly. The role also involves occasional travel to customer sites, conducting site inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Project supervision and coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and site-based oversight.
- Experience with installation and maintenance activities in an industrial, agricultural, or engineering environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Working knowledge of health and safety standards and risk management in a site or construction setting.
- Proficiency with basic IT tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project tracking software) and comfort using digital documentation systems.
- Ability to travel to poultry sites as required and work flexibly in a hybrid arrangement between Lincoln and home.
- Prior experience in the poultry sector or agricultural equipment industry is an advantage.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
