Mechanical Engineer (Plant Machinery) opportunity with one of the UK's leading independent suppliers of waste balers and compactors.
Location This role is based on site in Knaresborough, with occasional opportunity to support field service engineers with installations, commissioning or more complex repairs when additional resource is required.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults.
Refurbish machinery to a high standard.
Carry out service, repairs and preventative maintenance.
Replace worn or damaged components.
Complete final testing before machines leave the workshop.
Carry out MIG welding and fabrication where required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
