- £25K - £28K depending on experience
- Full Time - Permanent – Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm with an hour for lunch

Conveyancing Assistant Duties:
- Working closely with lawyers to run case files
- Day-to-day administration of the case files, ensuring that the matter progresses and the client is updated
- Dealing with clients by telephone and email, recognising their individual needs and expectations
- Liaising with other professionals and institutions, such as Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and Lenders
- Completing relevant documentation, for example SDLT returns and associated documents
- Using both general IT packages, (MS Office) and our specialist Conveyancing software and case management system (Leap)
- Drafting simple legal documents, (under supervision)
- Any other general office duties
The ideal Conveyancing Assistant:
- MUST have experience of handling conveyancing transactions from start to finish, within a law firm/equivalent setting.
- Will have experience of using a conveyancing case management system
- Will have experience of MS Office applications in a work setting
- Will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal and enjoy dealing with people
- Will enjoy working as part of a team and be prepared to help other colleagues
