We are working on a £multiB project in Somerset, and the client is looking for senior, experienced Site Engineers with solid welding inspection knowledge on large power, Oil & Gas, and Nuclear projects. The role is 75% site-based and 25% office-based.
The job responsibilities include:
- Recording and reporting findings to Construction and Quality.
- Managing the outcomes of the surveillance undertaken.
- Attending meetings and effectively communicating with contractors.
- Conducting documentation checks or reviews, with knowledge of specifications such as BTS, BST, ISO9001, GQAS, and others being essential.
- Understanding current processes such as NCRs and ITPs is an advantage.
General knowledge on the following activities is required:
- Pipework
- Tank/vessel
- Steelwork
- Heat exchangers
- QA/QC experience
- Punchlist checks
