We are working on a £multiB project in Somerset, and the client is looking for senior, experienced Site Engineers with solid welding inspection knowledge on large power, Oil & Gas, and Nuclear projects. The role is 75% site-based and 25% office-based.

The job responsibilities include:

  • Recording and reporting findings to Construction and Quality.
  • Managing the outcomes of the surveillance undertaken.
  • Attending meetings and effectively communicating with contractors.
  • Conducting documentation checks or reviews, with knowledge of specifications such as BTS, BST, ISO9001, GQAS, and others being essential.
  • Understanding current processes such as NCRs and ITPs is an advantage.

General knowledge on the following activities is required:

  • Pipework
  • Tank/vessel
  • Steelwork
  • Heat exchangers
  • QA/QC experience
  • Punchlist checks
