Site Delivery Lead

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Delivery Lead – Civils to join the Sizewell C project—one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure developments. This nuclear new build will play a vital role in providing clean, reliable energy and supporting the UK’s Net Zero goals.

Reporting to the Site Delivery Director , you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of key civil works, including enabling works, major civils, networks, and large-scale infrastructure . You will lead a team of senior managers and ensure the successful execution of works in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of complex civil engineering works across the Sizewell C site.
• Ensure seamless coordination between multiple stakeholders, including contractors, project teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage interfaces between Civil Works, Conventional Island, and Nuclear Island to maintain alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee compliance with ONR regulations, CDM strategy, and nuclear safety standards .
• Drive project execution in line with budget, schedule, and safety requirements, ensuring the highest quality of delivery.
• Lead the coordination of reinforced concrete structures, nuclear-grade construction, and high-integrity civils .
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure best-for-project decisions are made.

Key Requirements

• Proven track record in nuclear civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ONR regulations, nuclear safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including heavy civil works, concrete structures, and enabling works.
• APM/Prince2 qualifications or equivalent project management certification.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills , with experience overseeing multi-disciplinary teams.
