JOB PURPOSE
Janes are seeking a HR Executive (Maternity Cover) to join our EMEA HR team. Reporting to the HR Manager EMEA and based in our Croydon office, this is a hands‑on operational role focusing on HR service delivery for our UK and EMEA based people leaders and colleagues. This is an exciting, varied role in a lively and fast‑paced environment, ideal for someone prepared to hit the ground running.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AT JANES
- Provide the full spectrum of key operational, transactional and administrative HR support to Janes in the UK and EMEA.
- Be involved in providing general HR advice and support to Janes colleagues and people leaders.
- Support HR operations and transactional work across all aspects of the employee life cycle in line with Janes policies and procedures.
- Support the HR Manager EMEA in the timely provision of key management information, data and reports using various systems and tools.
- Be a key support in the onboarding process through management of background checks, creation of employment contracts and welcome packs.
- Work closely with our HRIS Hibob in day‑to‑day role, becoming expert at updating the system, running reports and analysing data.
- Get involved in supporting many other HR projects and initiatives, including helping us co‑ordinate and arrange training and briefing sessions.
THE IDEAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE ARE
- Previous experience working in the HR function of a small or medium‑sized business.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and highly proactive with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable with technology and data.
- Curious and driven to learn quickly.
- Some experience of HR transactional and operational work through the employee life cycle such as generating contracts, amendments, letters and involvement in onboarding.
- Experience of using HR information systems.
- Confident and clear communicator.
- Some knowledge and awareness of UK employment law and employee relations issues would be useful.
