We are looking for a talented mid-weight Digital Designer to join on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of extension to help us establish a strong suite of visual assets. They will be able to create expert design across digital, web, social, and print, while also managing brand consistency and preparing files for production, helping us to communicate the value of Janes to our customers and increase brand awareness.
How you will contribute at Janes:
- Creation and delivery of a wide range of integrated marketing communications including website/UI assets, digital/print ads, social media content, event stands, and Janes own-channel assets.
- Design for various digital platforms, including our new website, social media channels (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn), email marketing, and other digital marketing assets.
- Produce high-quality, print-ready files for commercial printing, including image retouching, collaboration with external print vendors, manage timelines, and provide quality checks to ensure the final printed products meet high standards.
- Ensure all outputs are brand-consistent, accessible, and professional.
The ideal skills and experience for this role are:
- Someone who can combine creativity with a professional, polished style.
- A practical, delivery-focused designer who can translate ideas into high-quality outputs quickly.
- Have a solid portfolio showcasing experience in design, advertising and social media, web design, and visual storytelling across different channels.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of colour theory, typography, layout principles.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance creativity and consistency.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Good experience and knowledge working in Figma.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
- Some experience producing print-ready artwork is a bonus.
- Good organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative but also comfortable working independently.
- Good level of communication and interpersonal skills.
About The Team:
The Creative department’s primary goal is to help more people discover the benefits of Janes and build a stronger understanding of Janes through multiple channels. The team works on initiatives that educate and build interest in Janes incredible technology offering, in close collaboration with other teams, such as Marketing, Product, and Sales.
