Location: Leeds  

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) 

Salary: £28,500 - £35,500 depending on experience 

Closing Date: 9am Friday 11th July  


Run For All – one of the UK’s largest not-for-profit sporting event companies – is looking for a passionate and creative Media Officer to help tell the stories that inspire thousands to lace up their trainers each year.

The Role 

As our Media Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the public sees and engages with Run For All. You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and distributing compelling content across our media channels, supporting PR efforts, and celebrating the incredible participants, charities, and communities we serve. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the planning and delivery of media and PR campaigns for events and initiatives. 
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and event communications. 
  • Create engaging digital content (copy, photography, video) for social and traditional media. 
  • Manage media relationships and coordinate press attendance at events. 
  • Monitor media coverage and produce reports on media impact and performance. 
  • Assist with creating promotional videos, images, and other media assets to highlight the event. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and visibility. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experience in a media, communications, or PR role. 
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a good eye for compelling human-interest stories. 
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. 
  • A team player with energy, initiative, and a passion for making a difference. 

Desirable Skills & Experience 

While not essential, the following would be advantageous in this role: 

  • A background or keen interest in running, events, or charity sectors. 
  • Confidence in capturing and editing photo or video content. 
  • Familiarity with media monitoring or analytics tools. 
  • Photography/video production skills. 
  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools. 
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in event
