We are looking to hire an experienced Travel Manager to lead and grow our UK travel programme. In this role, you’ll work with a number of teams across Jane Street to provide exceptional travel experiences for our colleagues and candidates. Our travel operations have many moving parts, and this role is a chance to bring fresh ideas, drive innovation and evolve our travel programme as we scale.
Your focus will be on:
- Developing and executing travel strategy for the UK region, partnering with global teams to ensure alignment while addressing local market nuances
- Managing vendor relationships and negotiations with travel suppliers
- Overseeing day-to-day travel operations, including bookings and expense processing
- Leading process improvement initiatives

About You
- Have 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate travel management
- A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with operational excellence
- A reliable, courteous and flexible team player with a great customer service attitude
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating change
- Able to multitask and prioritise varying, sometimes competing requests
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently, making decisions quickly and taking initiative to close the loop on outstanding issues
- Experienced with managing or mentoring others, or highly motivated to grow into a people-management role
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings and evening hours to handle urgent travel needs
- Experienced with Google Workspace, Excel and travel management platforms
- Experienced with expense management systems (Workday or similar) and corporate card programmes (a plus but not required)
- Experienced with Jira or similar systems (a plus but not required)
