About the Position
We are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in mobile device management (MDM) and remote device solutions. You will play a key role in engineering, managing and maintaining a growing fleet of thousands of iOS and Android devices and ensuring seamless connectivity to essential apps and services that support our business needs.
In this position, you’ll focus on improving, automating and standardising our fleet of corporately owned and BYOD-managed devices and its supporting infrastructure. This will involve developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts, optimising MDM systems and collaborating globally to resolve issues, deploy updates and enhance systems in this growing and fast-moving domain. You will also develop new solutions for business problems and architect integrations to meet the requirements of a variety of stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed as you collaborate with colleagues across the firm globally to find and resolve issues, plan and execute deployments and improve systems where possible.
Getting the details right and keeping good records are critical in this role. Good troubleshooting skills are essential and you’ll be expected to clearly document problem resolution resulting from root cause analysis.
This role is part of our IT Engineering group, a dedicated team that architects and manages a global physical, virtual and mobile computing environment. Your analytical skills and expertise will directly support our colleagues and ensure the highest standard of system performance.
About You
- 5+ years of proven engineering experience with MDM/UEM environments managing iOS and Android devices
- Have strong skills in PowerShell automation and scripting
- Experienced with MDM platforms such as Intune, Jamf Pro or Workspace One
- Proficient in managing Apple device lifecycles using Apple Business Manager
- Have a demonstrated ability to integrate various systems to fulfil business needs
- Excellent troubleshooter and communicator with a strong customer service mentality
- A flexible and reliable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Fluency in English required
