We are looking for an Identity Security Engineer with a strong background in engineering hybrid Windows platforms to join our growing team. The Jane Street IT Security team is dedicated to securing access to Jane Street’s IT platforms. You will play a crucial role in furthering the security posture of the organisation through a combination of technical hands-on work and collaboration with cross-functional engineers to drive transformational security projects.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a technical security resource, providing expertise regarding EntraID, M365, Azure tooling and security best practices.
- Implementing and leading the validation of appropriate security controls designed to mitigate and limit an attack path(s) between on-prem and externally hosted platforms.
- Identifying security gaps and proposing operational enhancements to adhere to our security standards.
- Providing technical leadership and cross-functional influence to technology teams looking to enable relevant cloud adoption.
Qualifications
- Have a solid foundation in Microsoft security policies and configurations spanning Microsoft cloud services (SaaS/PaaS), IAM and Privilege Access Management domains.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry-standard SSO technologies and authentication methods (OpenID Connect, SAML, OAuth, Kerberos, LDAP, etc.).
- Have designed, implemented and supported Microsoft security infrastructure in production environments.
- Issued security recommendations surrounding certificate policies, templates, and key sizes to maintain secure cryptographic standards.
- Have managed and secured Azure resources using a code-driven approach.
- Eager to produce scalable and repeatable security practices through automation including certificate enrollment and renewals lifecycles.
