We are looking for a Client Onboarding Specialist to support our client-facing team in managing the pipeline of new institutional clients, with a particular focus on listed derivatives onboarding. Expanding our listed options and futures business is a key priority for Jane Street's client franchise, and this position will coordinate and drive new client setups across EMEA, with significant involvement in APAC.

The right candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is willing to get involved and enjoys working in an intense and fast-paced work environment. The primary responsibility of this position is the complete oversight of the “FIA Tech” portal process, which includes:

  • Initiating and tracking the status of Give-Up Agreements (GUAs)
  • Coordinating GUAs with both counterparties and clearing brokers
  • Negotiating and preparing related fee schedules

Beyond these core duties, the position also involves several other key areas:

  • Coordinating the derivatives onboarding of institutional clients
  • Navigating across large teams and stakeholders
  • Preparing reports and routine correspondence with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fielding inquiries to appropriate team members, following up on emerging issues and ensuring timely responses to urgent issues/activities as they arise
  • Helping manage the stack of client trading connections setups
  • Maintaining the highest levels of internal and external confidentiality

About You

  • Have a bachelor’s degree and operational support experience, preferably at a financial services firm
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Discreet, trustworthy and mature
  • Positive and professional in attitude and presence
  • A responsible self-starter with extreme attention to detail
  • A reliable, courteous and flexible team player
  • Familiar with CRM software
  • Familiar with Jira or other project management software
