We’re looking for an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to help manage equipment inventory, delivery, installation and deployment for our offices, data centres and co-locations, and to track assets throughout their lifecycle. This role is based in London but covers a range of sites across the European market, and will help align global processes with our Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing and coordinating comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centres.
- Managing the call-off process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment.
- Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites.
- Working alongside the Procurement team to support the management of inventory levels and identify any stock challenges.
- Helping with asset transfers and driving process improvements across logistics and supply chain operations where possible.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any logistics-related issues.
- Managing customs broking and paperwork arrangements for both the importing and exporting of goods across global markets.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data centre environments.
- Demonstrable experience improving, streamlining and documenting processes.
- Proven track record of managing vendors and coordinating third-party services.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experienced project manager and resource planner.
- Strong communicator with great people and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Operates with a high sense of urgency.
- Experience in asset transfers management, process improvement, and process management (a plus but not required).
- Fluent in English.
